Russia's richest businessmen drop Russian citizenship PHOTO

Former Forbes list members Andrei Baronov and Ratmir Timashev have renounced their Russian citizenship, Forbes has learned.

The tycoons handed in their passports at the Russian embassies in Cyprus. Their only remaining citizenship is Cypriot. Neither businessman has lived in Russia for a long time. Baronov has settled in Switzerland and Timashev in the United States.

The businessmen have been included in the rating of Russia's 200 richest businessmen for five consecutive years - from 2017 to 2021.
