Russian air defences down 10 drones over Kaluga region

Air defence units of the Russian Armed Forces intercepted and destroyed ten unmanned aerial vehicles overnight on May 5 across several districts of the Kaluga region, regional authorities said.

Regional administration head Vladislav Shapsha noted that the drones were shot down over the Borovsk, Kirovsk, Zhukovsk, Lyudinovsk, and Mosalsk municipal districts, as well as on the outskirts of the city of Kaluga, Caliber.Az reports.

Emergency and operational services were deployed to the impact sites, Shapsha said, adding that preliminary information indicates no casualties or damage to infrastructure.
