Russian air defences shoot down 376 Ukrainian drones overnight
Russia’s Ministry of Defence has said its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 376 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during an overnight operation.
In a statement, the ministry said the drones were downed over multiple regions, including Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver and Tula, as well as the Moscow region. It added that interceptions also took place over the Azov and Black Seas, Caliber.Az reports.
“Overnight, air defence systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 376 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver and Tula regions, the Moscow region, and over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas,” the statement said.
