Slovenian companies eye role in Middle Corridor development
Slovenian companies have expressed their willingness to participate in the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor).
During a meeting between the company's leadership and representatives of Slovenian businesses, discussions focused on expanding transport and logistics ties and cooperation within the framework of the Middle Corridor's development, Caliber.Az informs, citing the press service of "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (Kazakhstan Railways).
"Executives from IT solutions, logistics, energy, transport infrastructure, and railway industries traveled to Kazakhstan to explore opportunities for expanding transport and logistics ties, cooperation on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, and potential joint projects related to digital solutions for ports and logistics centers," the press service stated.
The meeting participants also expressed their readiness to work together on further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the Middle Corridor, is a trade route connecting Southeast Asia and China to Europe via Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey. This corridor integrates railways, highways, and maritime routes to facilitate trade and economic cooperation among these regions.
