Spokesman: Azerbaijan established Lachin checkpoint for safety of its citizens

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Aykhan Hajizada has said that allegations on the “blockade” of Lachin road are groundless.

“Azerbaijan has established the Lachin checkpoint to guarantee the safety of citizens and vehicles on the Lachin road, & to prevent the misuse of the road by Armenia for military and illegal economic purposes. Allegations on ‘blockade’ are groundless!” the spokesperson wrote on X (Twitter), Caliber.Az reports.

Azerbaijan has established the Lachin checkpoint to guarantee the safety of citizens and vehicles on the Lachin road, & to prevent the misuse of the road by Armenia for military and illegal economic purposes.
