TASS: Vandals defile World War II Memorial in Yerevan

Unidentified vandals have desecrated a memorial to fallen soldiers of the Great Patriotic War in Victory Park, Yerevan.

Thus, wreaths that were laid on February 23 scattered and damaged, Caliber.Az reports via TASS.

As of yet, TASS has not received any comments from the law enforcement agencies or the Russian embassy regarding the incident.

This is not the first instance of memorial desecration in Yerevan.

On January 30, 2024, vandals destroyed wreaths placed at the monument to the children of Leningrad during the siege.
