TOGG sees thumbs up by President Aliyev, says President Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev had praised Türkiye's first indigenous electric car TOGG.

The remarks by the Turkish leader came on April 5 in an interview with Channel 24, APA reports.

“Mr Ilham expressed his satisfaction after we sent him a car. He also said it was "a very good car," Erdogan said, adding a total of 177,000 orders for TOGG have been received in a short time.

President Aliyev was presented with an "Anadolu" (maroon)-colour TOGG in Baku on April 4.
