A warship built in Türkiye for the Pakistan Navy under the PN MILGEM project has successfully completed live-fire exercises.
During the trials, the PNS Khaibar — the second of four MILGEM-class corvettes constructed for Pakistan — demonstrated high accuracy in engaging sea, land, and air targets, Caliber.Az reports, citing Sanayi ve Savunma on X.

According to the report, the ship’s 76 mm main gun scored a direct hit on a designated land target, while the remotely operated 25 mm STOP stabilised gun system achieved similar precision against surface targets.
The results of the live-fire exercises highlighted the technological maturity, successful system integration, and operational reliability of the PN MILGEM program.

Under the 2020 agreement between Ankara and Islamabad, four MILGEM-class corvettes were to be built — two at the Istanbul Naval Shipyard and two at the Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KSEW), with Türkiye’s ASFAT serving as the main contractor.
