Turkish intelligence nabs 5 ISIS terrorists in northern Syria PHOTO

Türkiye's National Intelligence Organisation (MİT), together with law enforcement agencies in northern Syria, conducted an operation to detain five militants of the terrorist organisation ISIS.

Security sources in Ankara told Anadolu Agency that Muhammad Khalid Ali, call sign Abu Seif Tadmuri/Abu Dujan, one of the leaders of an ISIS cell in the zone of the "Peace Spring" operation, is among those detained.

Some of the captured fighters were involved in assassination attempts or were considered "responsible" for explosives. Weapons and ammunition were found with them.
