Turkish National Defence Minister attends NATO meeting in Brussels
Turkish National Defence Minister Yaşar Güler took part in the second day of the meeting of NATO defence ministers in Brussels.
The Turkish defence minister was met at the NATO Headquarters by Türkiye's permanent representative to NATO Zeke Levent Gömrükçü, head of Türkiye's military delegation to NATO Göksel Kahya and others, Anadolu news agency reported.
In the conference room, Güler spoke with colleagues from a number of countries, including Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin and Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram.
The meeting was followed by a group photo of the participants at the event.
On June 15, Güler met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Issues of defence and security were discussed at the meeting. During the meeting, Güler conveyed to Stoltenberg the position of Türkiye on topical issues.
