Turkish official blames Armenian diaspora in EU, US for hindering regional peace

Armenian Diasporas in Europe and America and some circles do not want peace in the region, said Numan Kurtulmus, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.

Armenia has no other choice but to live in peace with Azerbaijan, he said on his return from Azerbaijan, where he participated in the 14th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), Report informs.

The parliament speaker also emphasized the role of the Armenian Diaspora in Europe and America as an obstacle to peace: "The problem between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not related to Armenians living in Armenia but to the Armenian Diasporas in Europe and America and the circles that do not want peace in this region."
