Turkish ROKETSAN targets 50% growth by year-end, CEO says
The Turkish defense company ROKETSAN plans to achieve a 50% growth by the end of the year, as announced by the company's CEO, Murat İkinci.
He made the remarks in an interview with Anadolu Agency on the sidelines of the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum held in Antalya, Caliber.Az reports.
"Currently, we export products to almost 40 countries and aim to increase this number to 50 in the near future," he said.
The CEO reminded that Türkiye's defense exports in 2024 exceeded $7 billion, with more than 400 million dollars of this amount coming from ROKETSAN.
İkindi noted that the company's short-term export goal is set at $10 billion, and added that this goal could be achieved faster than planned.
The CEO emphasized that ROKETSAN will make a significant contribution to reaching this goal: "We plan to finish this year with a growth of about 50% both in turnover and export volumes."
He also spoke about the company's production strategies for the needs of the army and export. İkindi highlighted that the company continues to produce both for the Turkish Armed Forces and for export.
He mentioned that the production of ballistic missiles is proceeding at a fast pace, and that capacity is being increased within serial production projects.
"Our anti-tank complexes, munitions for drones, anti-ship missiles, Sungur and Karaok systems, cruise missiles—almost our entire product portfolio is used in many countries around the world. And what is even more encouraging is that not only is it being used, but we are receiving additional requests, which makes us very happy," he added.
Roketsan is a Turkish defense company specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of rockets and missiles. Established on June 14, 1988, by the Turkish Defense Industry Executive Committee, its primary goal was to meet the Turkish Armed Forces' rocket and missile needs and to position Türkiye as a leader in this field.
