Uniper official highlights strong European demand for Azerbaijani gas Amid energy crisis
During the plenary discussions at the Baku Energy Forum, Vice President of the German energy company Uniper, Michael Gilmer, emphasized the robust demand for Azerbaijani natural gas in European countries.
Gilmer noted that despite Germany's efforts to transition to green energy, natural gas remains a critical component of the country's energy strategy, Report informs.
Following the decision to reduce reliance on Russian gas, prices on the continent surged, leading to an energy crisis. In this context, Azerbaijani gas has become increasingly sought after in Europe, with its stability and availability providing a reliable alternative amidst the supply challenges.
