Ukrainian envoy thankful for Azerbaijan's support
Ukrainian Deputy Interior Minister Bohdan Drapyatiy thanked the Azerbaijani state and President Ilham Aliyev for the support and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
He said this at a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev, Caliber.Az reports.
"Ukraine highly appreciates Azerbaijan's assistance. This is another indicator of the strategic nature of our relations," Drapyatiy emphasized.
Speaking about humanitarian aid, Seymur Mardaliyev noted that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to allocate $7.6 million for electrical equipment for Ukraine: "Ukraine will soon receive generators and transformers. Azerbaijan will continue to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine and expand it".
Mardaliyev also spoke about the medical and psychological rehabilitation of Ukrainian children in Azerbaijan, as well as Azerbaijan's intention to participate in projects for the reconstruction of Ukraine, provide the country with demining equipment and share its experience in this field.
