"God forbid if the authorities declare that Zangezur is Armenia" Pundit Khachikyan ridicules Pashinyan

Armenian political scientist Arthur Khachikyan has ridiculed Armenian authorities’ high-potential desires on the Zangazur corridor.  

"The Armenian authorities once said, 'Garabagh is Armenia and that's it.' After that, we lost Garabagh. God forbid if the authorities declare that Zangezur is Armenia and that's it," Caliber.Az reports.

He is confident that the West is interested in opening the corridor.

"Why can the West in Ukraine claim a security guarantee, but Armenia cannot? The powerful pro-Azerbaijani and pro-Turkish lobby in Russia is trying to convince Moscow that it is impossible to deal with Armenians and it is necessary to negotiate with Baku and Ankara. We have failed all ties with an ally. The West will not help, and Iran will not intervene militarily," Khachikyan concluded.
