Istanbul to host 60th session of climate change conference - Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Türkiye would host the 60th session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in Istanbul in January.

Addressing the World Climate Action Summit organized on the sidelines of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - COP28 in Dubai, Erdogan noted that Ankara has put forward its candidacy to host the 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2026, Report informs.
