Expert Mangasaryan: Attestation in Armenian armed forces fails

Vitaly Mangasaryan, head of Henaket think tank has said that attestation in Armenian Armed Forces failed.

"I should note that, according to my information, the Armenian military has many problems, starting with the methodology of passing the attestation and ending with morale," Mangasaryan said in an interview while commenting on the ongoing attestation in the Armenian Defence Ministry, Caliber.Az reports

"For example, a problem arises when combat training is among the priorities or is on the same level as professional skills. The scoring mechanism that forms the final grade is also problematic. Let's say a person can get an excellent score in firearms training, professional knowledge and duties, and physical training, but get a low score in drill training and end up with a rather low average score. This is a serious problem," the expert said.
