Azerbaijan increases production of aluminium products

Production of aluminium products in Azerbaijan amounted to 29,992.4 tonnes In Azerbaijan from January to June 2024, which is 64.9% more than in the same period last year.

As of July 1 this year, 2,668.4 tonnes of finished products were in the warehouses of enterprises, Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan exported 37,742.75 tonnes of aluminium and aluminium products in the first half of this year, which is 5.6% less than in January-June 2023.

At the same time, the value of exported products totalled $100.320,81 million (a decline of 6.2%).

The share of export products in the reporting period totalled 0.78% of Azerbaijan's total exports (0.6% in January-June 2023).
