American University of Armenia moves classes online amid Iran threat

The American University of Armenia (AUA) has moved to online learning for security reasons, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

In a statement, the university said the decision was made in response to reports of threats from Iran targeting American universities in Western Asia and the Middle East.

The statement emphasised, however, that AUA has not received any direct threats and there is no reason to believe it is under danger, so there is no cause for panic.
