Another blast rocks Russia's Taganrog near airfield hit earlier this week photo / video
Residents of Taganrog, Russia, reported fresh explosions during the night of November 28.
According to local Telegram channels and eyewitnesses, one of the blasts occurred roughly 1.5 kilometres from the Taganrog-Yuzhny military airfield — the same location where two Russian military aircraft were struck several days earlier.

The Telegram channel ASTRA specified that the explosion took place 1.35 kilometres from the area where the two aircraft had previously been hit. Locals reported hearing loud detonations as well as activity from air-defence systems throughout the night.
During the night of November 25, an attack on Taganrog and the Neklinovsky district of the Rostov region resulted in three deaths and eight injuries. According to ASTRA, a UAV strike in Taganrog caused a fire near the runway close to the Beriev Aircraft Company (TANTK named after G. M. Beriev). At the Taganrog-Yuzhny military airfield, one of the aircraft stationed there also caught fire.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine later confirmed ASTRA’s information regarding the destruction of an aircraft and damage to facilities at the aircraft repair plant. Following this, satellite images were released showing the destroyed A-60 and Il-76 aircraft on the grounds of the airfield.
