Armenian tricks with “ancient” church in Lachin PHOTO
While returning to their native lands in Lachin, Azerbaijanis find "surprises" which remained since the years of Armenian occupation.
These “surprises” were obviously intended to artificially extend the duration of Armenians' presence in Karabakh, presenting it as more historic.
In this context, we should remind the August publication on Caliber.Az about the Armenians’ attempts to pass off the church in Lachin as a “historical monument”, although it was built on the site of Lachin resident Gubad Ibrahimov’s house in 1996-1998, situated at 35 Hazi Aslanov Street.
This story has been recently continued. Azerbaijani architects who visited the liberated Lachin confirmed the information that the so-called "ancient" Armenian church was built on the site of Ibrahimov's house at the above-mentioned address.
In particular, the Armenians were not ashamed even to use the slate taken from the roof of Ibrahimov’s house to cover the church. Moreover, they also used stones from Ibrahimov's house. Obviously, this was done during the occupation of Lachin by the Armenian army.
We present photo evidence of the Armenians’ tricks in making their presence in Karabakh more ancient.
