Ashgabat to host Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan business forum

The Azerbaijani-Turkmen business forum and the seventh meeting of the intergovernmental commission will be held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on November 27-28 this year.

Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Batyr Atdayev made the announcement at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, per Report.

According to him, the business forum will be attended by representatives of companies specialising in the oil and gas industry, textile industry, agriculture, food production, construction, building materials, pharmaceuticals, transport and logistics and information technology.

Atdayev noted that several bilateral meetings and negotiations between representatives of the business community of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are expected to be held within the forum.

The forum will be followed by the signing of relevant documents.
