Seventh Azerbaijan–Georgia–Türkiye business forum opens in Kakheti region
The seventh Azerbaijan–Georgia–Türkiye Business Forum has opened in Georgia’s Kakheti region, bringing together more than 400 government officials and business representatives from the three neighbouring countries.
Among the participants are Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvriwishvili, and Türkiye’s Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, alongside members of the business communities of all three countries, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The forum is focused on expanding economic cooperation, increasing mutual investment, boosting trade turnover and exploring opportunities for joint projects. Organisers describe the event as a key platform for deepening trilateral economic partnerships and strengthening direct ties between private sector representatives.
Discussions are expected to give particular attention to coordination within the Southern Gas Corridor, development of the so-called Middle Corridor trade route linking Asia and Europe, and broader regional transport and logistics initiatives.
The previous, sixth Azerbaijan–Georgia–Türkiye Business Forum was held in 2021 in Baku.
