Azerbaijan builds first residential complex in Shusha
The construction of the first residential complex in the Shusha city of Azerbaijan is underway.
The remarks were made by Azerbaijani president’s Special Representative in Shusha, Aydin Kerimov, at an international conference in Shusha on May 19, Report informs.
“From the very first days of [Shusha’s] liberation, the restoration process was kicked off. Many monuments have already been restored. All the work is carried out in line with the master plan, which puts the cultural monuments under a special spotlight,” Kerimov said.
He added that the former internally displaced people (IDPs) will be able to return to Shusha after the construction of the residential complex is completed.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani government reported that around 20,000-25,000 people will be settled in the city.
