New relocation convoy arrives in Azerbaijan's Khojavand Updated
A new relocation convoy has arrived in Khojavand city as part of Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to resettle formerly displaced residents in liberated territories.
In this vein, 64 families, totaling 253 people, have been relocated to Khojavand city, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The necessary conditions have been created for residents to settle in the city. Roads have been improved, and houses and infrastructure have been restored. Former internally displaced persons expressed their gratitude to the country’s leadership for the conditions created for them, wished mercy to the martyrs, and good health to the veterans.

Those relocating to Khojavand are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
At this stage, 64 families — a total of 253 people — have been relocated to Khojavand.
The move is part of the government’s “Great Return” programme, launched following Azerbaijan’s victory in the 44-day war in 2020. The initiative aims to resettle more than one million formerly internally displaced persons (IDPs) by 2030.
