Azerbaijan, Germany discuss expansion of economic partnership
Azerbaijan and Germany have discussed prospects for expanding their economic partnership, focusing on cooperation across trade, investment and other key sectors, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said.
Jabbarov said the talks were held with Michael Harms, Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association, on the sidelines of Baku Energy Week, Caliber.Az reports.

Speaking about the meeting, Jabbarov said they discussed prospects for expanding the Azerbaijan–Germany economic partnership.
He added that the two sides highlighted broad potential for cooperation in trade, investment, SME development, energy, agriculture and tourism, as well as initiatives aimed at strengthening ties between business communities and advancing human capital development.
He also noted that the discussions covered opportunities to enhance the work of the Azerbaijan–Germany High-Level Working Group on Trade and Investments.
Jabbarov further said the establishment of an Azerbaijan–Germany Business Council was also raised, along with the importance of the Joint Declaration of Intent for deepening and diversifying bilateral relations.
