Azerbaijan holding training exercises for reserve servicemen PHOTO 

The Azerbaijani military units have commenced the training exercises for reserve servicemen in accordance with this year’s training plan and as part of joint activities with the State Service for Mobilisation and Conscription. 

After registering and undergoing medical check-up, the reservists were provided with military uniforms and other necessary equipment, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

During the exercises, the reservists will study the tactical and technical characteristics and operational rules of modern weapons and military equipment available in the Azerbaijani army's arsenal, as well as new elements of drill training. 

The primary goal of these exercises is to enhance the combat readiness, knowledge, and practical skills of the reserve servicemen.
