Azerbaijan hosts 30th meeting of CIS Coordination Council for Government Communications PHOTO
The 30th meeting of the Coordination Council on Government Communications of the CIS member states was held in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku on October 17.
The delegations on encryption and closed communications services of the CIS member states’ intelligence agencies attended the meeting, according to Report.
The 30th meeting was chaired by the Azerbaijani State Service of Special Communication and Information Security. Head of the State Service, Lieutenant General Ilgar Musayev delivered an opening speech.
The meeting participants discussed the experience gained in the field of government, closed and special communication systems, encryption software, the introduction of scientific and technical achievements, the expansion of interstate cooperation, training of personnel with appropriate qualifications and other issues.
The deputy chairman and chairman of the State Service’s office were elected by voting during the 30th meeting of the Coordination Council and a protocol was signed following the meeting.
