Azerbaijan, Latvia eye to organise cargo transportation between Caspian, Baltic Seas

Azerbaijan and Latvia intend to find suitable routes for cargo transportation between the Caspian and Baltic Seas.

This issue was discussed at the meeting between Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov and Director General at the Latvian Investment and Development Agency Kaspars Rozkalns, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, Report informs citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

According to the message, the cooperation issues between the two countries in transport, digitalisation of transport, ICT, and cybersecurity, as well as establishing cooperation in the field of "smart cities" in the future were discussed at the meeting.
