Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia set to sign new memo on civil defence cooperation PHOTO

Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia are preparing to sign a new memorandum of understanding in the field of civil defence, said Saudi Ambassador to Azerbaijan Issam bin Saleh Al-Jutayli.

According to the ambassador, the document will be signed between Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior, Caliber.Az reports per local media outlets.

“We have already received the final version of the memorandum,” Al-Jutayli said.

The diplomat recalled that the two countries have already signed several memoranda of understanding across various sectors and continue to work on new agreements.

He also emphasised the close cooperation and coordination between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia in several fields, including defence, security, education, trade, investment, and culture.
