Azerbaijan, Switzerland discuss potential cooperation in small, medium business

 The Azerbaijan Small and Medium Business Development Agency continues holding meetings with local and foreign entrepreneurs to expand ties and implement new business initiatives.

Chairman of the board of Azerbaijan Small and Medium Business Development Agency Orkhan Mammadov met with Director of the Swiss Flitex company Franco Santini, the agency told Trend.

The potential spheres of cooperation between local entrepreneurs and the company, the issues of public-private partnership in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the process of learning from international experience in this sphere were discussed at the meeting.

 According to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Switzerland exceeded $43.631 million from January through March 2022, while this figure reached $63.465 million in the same period of 2021 (a decrease of 31.25 percent for the year).
