Azerbaijan to speed up deployment of "green technologies" in Karabakh

Azerbaijan plans to accelerate the implementation of measures to introduce "green technologies" and energy efficiency requirements on its territories liberated from occupation.

This was discussed at the 4th meeting of the subgroup created as part of the working group on coordination and monitoring, Report informs, citing the Energy Ministry.

Javid Abdullayev, director of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources under the Energy Ministry, briefed the subgroup on the January 11 meeting of the commission for the implementation of renewable energy projects, as well as the decisions made at the 2nd meeting of the working group on coordination and monitoring..

During the meeting, a number of issues related to the activities of the subgroup were discussed. As a result of the discussions, it was decided to accelerate the necessary measures to solve the tasks that are being implemented within the framework of thematic events, and to report at the next meeting of the working group on the tasks that have been completed.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the energy, economy, finance, agriculture, ecology and natural resources, emergencies, digital development and transport ministries, the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture and other structures.
