Azerbaijan, Türkiye enhance cooperation in science, education

Azerbaijan and Türkiye have engaged in productive discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fields of science and education.

The meeting, held between Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and President of the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye, Erol Ozvar, underscored the successful strategic partnership and allied relations that have flourished between the two nations, Caliber.Az reports citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

During the discussions, the sides hailed the advancements made in educational collaboration, highlighting the fruitful outcomes of long-term partnerships among higher education institutions and research centres in both countries.

Key topics included the ongoing activities of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University and the potential for further development in scientific and educational cooperation.

The meeting also saw the participation of Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, rectors from Türkiye’s leading universities and the rector of Azerbaijan Technical University.
