Azerbaijan unveils circumstances of Khojaly genocide victims murder

Director of the Association of Forensic Medicine and Pathological Anatomy of the Azerbaijani Health Ministry Adalat Hasanov has unveiled the reason of death of seven people found in Khojaly city.

“Seven people found in Khojaly district died as a result of blunt traumatic injury, while two of them had gunshot wounds. These people were buried in Khojaly on March 31,” Hasanov told Report.

Thus, seven people, whose remains were revealed in a mass grave during excavation work in the centre of Khojaly city were identified.

Officials, representatives of non-governmental organisations (NGOs), media and public representatives took part in the funeral.
