Azerbaijani FM expresses condolences to Georgian side

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his condolences to his Georgian counterpart Ilya Darchiashvili on his Twitter account.

The news on border police helicopter crash in the Gudauri resort area of #Georgia deeply saddened us. We express our heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and People of friendly Georgia. #Azerbaijan stands by Georgia in this difficult time.

"The news on border police helicopter crash in the Gudauri resort area of Georgia deeply saddened us. We express our heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and the People of friendly Georgia. Azerbaijan stands by Georgia in this difficult time," he wrote, Caliber.Az reports.

As a result of the crash of a Mi-8 helicopter in the Tetri Aragvi valley in Georgia, eight people died.
