Azerbaijani gymnast wins World Cup in Bulgaria

Gymnast Nikita Simonov of the Azerbaijan national team has won the World Cup series "Challenge", which wrapped up in Plovdiv (Bulgaria).

He reached the finals of exercises on uneven bars, ranking the second in the qualification, according to azerisport.com.

In the final, Simonov reportedly performed even better, having grabbed gold.

For Simonov, this is the third award of the season: before that, he won bronze at the World Cups in the Qatari capital Doha, and Baku.
