Azerbaijani MFA condoles with Czech Republic over deadly shooting
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has expressed condolences to the Czech Republic over the deadly attack which claimed the lives of 15 people.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of life as a result of the mass shooting at Charles University in Prague.
We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this tragic attack and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded," the MFA said on X, per Caliber.Az.
It should be noted that a student opened fire on December 21 at a university in Prague, killing at least 15 people, officials said, and injuring 25 in the Czech Republic’s worst mass shooting.
The bloodshed took place in the philosophy department building of Charles University, where the shooter was a student, Prague Police Chief Martin Vondrasek said. The gunman also died, authorities said. His name has not been released.
