Azerbaijani, Turkish sappers improve professional skills PHOTO/VIDEO

The combat training classes are being held with engineering units in accordance with the plan approved by the Azerbaijani defence minister for 2023.

During the classes, held with military personnel of the Azerbaijani Army and Turkish Armed Forces, servicemen of engineering troops fulfil tasks on a reconnaissance of the area, detecting and neutralising mines and unexploded ammunition using mine detectors in the specially equipped engineering camp, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

The main purpose of the classes is to improve the level of professionalism and combat training skills of military personnel performing engineering support, as well as their ability to effectively use modern engineering techniques and equipment, which is in armament.
