The discussion focused on the key stages of global education policy formation, building sustainable education systems tailored to national contexts, and addressing pressing issues such as climate change and green education.
The session was moderated by Sey Haddy Jatou, Head of ICESCO’s Education Sector, and included speakers such as Christine Ozden, Director of Global Climate Education at the University of Cambridge; Dr Shehzad Jeeva, Chief Education Officer of the International Baccalaureate (IB); Ahmed Al-Banian, Chair of the Executive Committee of the 3rd ICESCO Conference of Education Ministers 2024; and Tofiq Ahmadov, Head of the dual-degree program between Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and George Washington University.
