Council of Europe issues next anti-Azerbaijan statement
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe has issued a new statement on Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, putting forward so-called demands against the latter.
The document, adopted following the 1478th meeting of the Committee of Ministers on October 18, 2023, includes a so-called demand for a “comprehensive amnesty for all Karabakh Armenians, including their representatives,” by Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Council of Europe's press service.
In addition, Europe calls on Azerbaijan to ensure the rights and security of the Armenians of the Karabakh region, as well as to “ensure international access” to the territories where they live.
The statement was signed by representatives of Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, and San Marino.
