Date set for talks between Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers in Almaty

The date of the meeting between Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers in Almaty (Kazakhstan) has been announced.
“In accordance with previously reached agreements, negotiations between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan will be held in Almaty on 10 May 2024,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Aykhan Hajizada on social network X, Caliber.Az reports.
Meanwhile, Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan confirmed this information on a social network.
The idea of holding talks between the two countries in Kazakhstan was proposed by the President of the Republic Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during recent visits to Azerbaijan and Armenia.
