Envoy discusses Azerbaijani-Armenian ties at University of Houston PHOTO
Azerbaijani Ambassador to the US Khazar Ibrahim visited the University of Houston during his visit to Texas, where he answered the questions of the teaching staff and students of the educational institution regarding the Azerbaijani-Armenian relations.
Report was told at the embassy that the diplomat visited Texas as part of the 41st session of the CERAWeek Energy Conference.
Ambassador Ibrahim spoke at the university on the topic "Problems of Regional Security: Prospects for Cooperation and Economic Potential".
At the meeting, which was attended by the teaching staff and students of the educational institution, discussions were held regarding Azerbaijan's contribution to ensuring regional and global peace, negotiations held to normalize Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, and the current situation, work carried out towards establishing relations with the Armenian population living in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region and their reintegration, as well as the state of relations between Azerbaijan and its neighbors in general.
Then Ambassador Ibrahim answered the questions of the participants of the event on the above topics.
