Erdoğan warns Türkiye will wage war without hesitation if attacked
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan vowed that his “country wants peace, not war, but will respond with war without hesitation if attacked,” as he commented on escalating tensions with Israel.
The Turkish leader said the Israeli government has “become dependent on wars.”
Earlier, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett described Türkiye as the “next target after Iran,” sparking discussions over the possibility of a military conflict. In addition, an Istanbul court issued a request through Interpol for the arrest of Benjamin Netanyahu, declaring him a “particularly dangerous criminal for crimes against humanity.”
Amid mutual accusations and judicial decisions, diplomatic rhetoric is growing increasingly tense, while security measures across the region are being strengthened.
