14 April 2026 12:37
A nationwide internet shutdown in Iran has continued for 46 consecutive days, exceeding 1,080 hours.
The shutdown continues to harm people’s lives and livelihoods in Iran, according to internet monitoring group NetBlocks.
“Despite a slight widening of the whitelist system, Iranians have to take risks just to get a message through to the outside world,” the group said.
NetBlocks added that the disruption has had a sustained impact on communication and daily life across the country.
