Israeli, Azerbaijani top officials eye Baku-Yerevan peace agenda in Jerusalem talks
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met in Jerusalem with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, discussing the Trump Plan for Gaza, the Azerbaijan–Armenia peace agenda, and the expanding economic partnership between the two countries.
Saar noted that bilateral ties continue to deepen, particularly in the areas of trade and tourism, with Israeli visitor numbers to Azerbaijan rising sharply in 2025. He said Israel would continue promoting tourism and strengthening cooperation across sectors, Caliber.Az reports.

The minister also expressed interest in visiting Baku in the near future and underlined Israel’s commitment to further advancing its close relations with Azerbaijan.
In turn, the Azerbaijani minister noted that the discussions focused on expanding the economic partnership between the two countries and assessing the prospects of joint projects with strategic significance for both sides and the wider region.
