Mine defused in Bosphorus strait

An unexploded mine has been found in the Bosporus strait on July 18.

It is noted that a citizen fishing for mussels in the strait found an object resembling a mine underwater. He reported it to law enforcement authorities, TRT Haber reports.

The police took security measures on the shore, and in the meantime, divers removed the mine from the water. The munition was taken away for examination and then neutralised.
