New copper mining zone discovered in Gadabay

The British company Anglo-Asian Mining Plc., engaged in the extraction of gold, silver and copper in Azerbaijan, has discovered an important zone of copper mineralisation at the Kharkhar deposit in the Gadabay district.

A preliminary exploration model of mineralisation has been developed. Currently, a geological block model and a basis for starting open-pit mining operations are being developed, APA reports.
