One killed, three injured in drone attack on Russian maritime terminal in Krasnodar
A fire broke out at a maritime terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai following a Ukrainian drone attack, leaving one person dead and three others injured, regional governor Veniamin Kondratyev said.
In a statement on Telegram, Kondratyev said Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles targeted the Temryuk district overnight, with falling debris triggering a fire at the facility, Caliber.Az reports.
“Last night, Ukrainian UAVs attacked the Temryuk district. Debris from the drones caused a fire at the maritime terminal. Unfortunately, one person was killed. I extend my deepest condolences to the family of the deceased,” he said.
He added that three injured individuals are receiving medical treatment, while emergency services continue efforts to contain the blaze.
“According to preliminary information, three more people were injured—they are currently receiving medical assistance,” Kondratyev said.
According to the governor, around 96 personnel and more than 30 pieces of equipment, including units from Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, were deployed to fight the fire.
