Peskov reveals Putin-Erdogan meeting agenda details

The meeting between Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will focus on Ukraine, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

However, he said that trade and economic cooperation between the two countries would be discussed first.

"Of course, regional problems will always be discussed, including the issue of Ukraine," Peskov said, according to Kommersant newspaper.

The Russian leader previously said that he plans to meet with his Turkish counterpart in early 2024, before that they failed to meet due to Erdogan's schedule.

The administration of the Turkish President specified that the meeting is on the agenda, and the relevant work is carried out through diplomatic channels, but there are no specifics yet.
