Russia intends to replenish troops with hundreds of thousands of contract soldiers

According to the publication, the Ministry of Defence has sent documents to the regions indicating the number of people with whom contracts should be signed.

Radio Liberty notes that several Russian regional media at once publish the total number of contract soldiers who are expected to replenish the Russian army. It is noted that it is planned to recruit 400 thousand of contract soldiers.

The publication writes that the main part of the work will be carried out by the military commissariats, and the regional governors will be responsible for the implementation of the plan.

It is also reported that in the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions of Russia, 10 thousand people should be recruited for professional service, and in the Perm Territory - 9 thousand.
